It’s time to lay-back and relax from a long day with a nice cold beverage and some comfortable headphones for listening to Jeff Tweedy’s new song Flowering. It’s just a suggestion to end your day with this groovy tune that embodies a very classic soulful sound with its beautifully written melody and smooth guitar chords.
Jeff Tweedy’s band Tweedy released the new song “Flowering” from their September album Sukierae. According to Spin, “It’s a relatively low-key track with some fine-tuned guitar work that gently guides the elder Tweedy’s vocals around the sonic space. It’s tonally similar to the stuff Jenny Lewis has been cranking out from her new album, The Voyager, and, like the tracks that came before, it bodes well for the final product.”
The song is very smooth and bright. It has a soft soulful tone that helps make work a lot easier if you’re listening to it on the job and helps relax the mind from a very stressful day. While the bass-line adds a mellow tone, the electric guitar carries a rhythmic upbeat melody. Tweedy’s soft vocals also gracefully touch it with richness and fullness. Flowering is easy to keep listening to over and over again with all of the beautiful sounds put together harmoniously. This talented group has a lot to offer the world of music.
