Emma Ruth Rundle has emerged from a personally turbulent period, bringing us her debut solo effort Some Heavy Ocean in the process. Her recent video for the single “Arms I Know So Well” gives us a glimpse into the inner struggle with which the singer has been dealing with lately.
While the details of her recent personal struggles are unknown, Emma Ruth Rundle’s latest video for the single “Arms I Know So Well” shows Rundle in a moment of solitary reflection. Her haunting vocals echo throughout the video, in which Rundle stands alone in a dark forest, a soft light filtered through the bare trees. Though she is isolated in this video, it appears that Rundle is searching for something in these woods, perhaps reaching for the light that seems to await her at the end of the forest.
