PHOTOS: Christopher Owens, Live at Hollywood Forever

Girls frontman Christopher Owens played to a sold out audience at Hollywood Forever on Thursday. Owens played a short but sweet set, marking the first show on his tour to promote the upcoming ‘A New Testament’ due out Sept 30th. Returning to the stage before playing an encore cover of Michael Jackson’s ‘Smile,’ Owens apologized by saying they were just starting and that was more or less their whole set.

Los Angeles-based Matt Kivel opened with his soft and intimate folk-y sound.
