This October, JEFF the Brotherhood head to Philly! Join them, along with openers Diarrhea Planet when they take the stage at Underground Arts. The October leg of the tour (which features Diarrhea Planet) kicks off on the 1st in Austin and makes its way to Philly on October 11th.
JEFF the Brotherhood are set to release a self-produced EP of covers titled Dig the Classics. The EP features JEFF the Brotherhood-stylized tracks from the likes of Pixies, My Bloody Valentine, and Beck. So far we haven’t heard any of the new tracks, but the full tracklist and cover art have been released. And you’ll get a chance to hear all six songs when the EP drops on September 30th. This marks JEFF the Brotherhood’s first release since 2012’s Hypnotic Nights. If you didn’t have a chance to check them out when they played at Kung Fu Necktie, you will definitely want to grab tickets for their upcoming Underground Arts show.
Both JEFF the Brotherhood and openers Diarrhea Planet hail from Nashville, Tennessee. They have recently been touring with Those Darlins but will be headed out with JEFF the Brotherhood for their October dates. The band formed in 2009 and have been making waves ever since. They saw a ton of buzz following their 2013 release I’m Rich Beyond Your Wildest Dreams which saw them performing at festivals like SXSW, Bonnaroo, and Gov Ball. Now you can catch them at Underground Arts. Get there early on 10/11 to catch both acts!
