New Found Glory is an American Rock band from Florida, that formed in 1997. The band currently consists of Jordan Pundik (vocals), Chad Gilbert (guitar), Ian Grushka (bass), and Cyrus Bolooki (drums). Through out the bands lengthy career, New Found Glory has released seven studio albums, one live album, two EPs, and three cover albums.
New Found Glory emerged in the music scene as a part of the second wave of pop punk in the 1990s. Music critics have often referred to them as a key pioneer of the genre. They have been labelled “Godfathers of pop punk” by BBC and AbsolutePunk. AllMusic stated that New Found Glory “practically serving alongside the work of Blink-182 as the blueprint to the entire genre for the early 2000s.”
On May 18 of this year, the band announced on Facebook that they would release a new album on Hopeless Records in the Fall. The bands latest single “Selfless” was released on August 5th. Their latest album is titled, Resurrection.
