Fresh off the heals of announcing their latest album, Minus the Bear have announced a fall tour which heads to our are mid-October. Instead of the usual larger-scale venues you’ve come to expect from the band, like The Electric Factory where they last played in Philly, Minus the Bear will be traveling to smaller, more intimate venues for their upcoming tour. They’ll play at Underground Arts on October 18th. Grab your tickets now – you do not want to miss this one!
Their sixth album, Lost Loves, drops on October 7th. That’s just enough time to pick out your favorite tracks before they grace the stage at Underground Arts. The Seattle band was formed back in 2001. In addition to their (now) 6 albums, Minus the Bear have also released 4 EPs since beginning their formation. They were here just last year performing at the Electric Factory. This is surely a unique opportunity to witness the band perform in such an intimate setting. Grab these tickets while you can!
Supporting Minus the Bear at their Philly engagement will be O’Brother, a band from Atlanta, Georgia. They released their debut EP back in 2006 and a follow up EP in 2009. After that, the band released several other efforts with their most recent album having dropped in 2013. Choosing to focus on their live show instead of steadily releasing recorded work, the band has been busy playing nearly 200 dates a year. They performed at Lollapolooza for the first time last year and also toured with Alice In Chains. Take a listen to their latest album, Disillusion, before you head to the show on October 18th.
