Casualties of Cool released their official promotional video for the song “Flight”. “Flight” is from the group’s independently released debut album.
The duo is a collaboration between multi-instrumentalist, singer, songwriter and producer Devin Townsend and fellow Canadian Ché Aimee Dorval, Vancouver-based vocalist. Earlier this year, Townsend and Dorval released a new track, called “Moon”, and they also put out a video for “Mountaintop”.
Konrad Palkeiwicz directed and filmed the haunting black and white toned video. The video for “Flight” puts Dorval’s strong blues-infused voice on display with a simple folk-pop melody backing her. Another stunning thing about the video for “Flight” are the landscapes and clouds dancing across the sky that Palkeiwicz captured on film.
