The rockers explode back on the scene with their first song in six years.

“The Negative One” brings the intensity for which Slipknot has come to be known, complete with Corey Taylor’s trademarked growling atop intense sampling and powerful riffs.

The single off the band’s forthcoming fifth studio album, “The Negative One” marks the first new song Slipknot has released in six emotionally turbulent years.

Details on the new album remain unclear, including who will replace drummer Joey Jordison after the band elected to part ways late last year.

The song is streaming on the band’s official website, and if fans sign up for the group’s official mailing list, they can stream the song more than once.
