BANKS released the music video for recently released track “Beggin For Thread” on Vevo today. Directed by Barnaby Roper, the black and white film noir matches the sensual throatiness of the supremely talented songstress, appearing in the video as a kind of Adam’s Family Snow White.

Her porcelain white skin set against black lips and hair capture the aesthetic and thematic contrast seen throughout the video, at once haunting and charming. The classic dark and light theme suit the macabre, yet vibrant pop tune and give an enticing look at whats to come from the L.A. based vixen.
The video comes in anticipation of her debut LP, GODDESS, out September 9 on Harvest Records. BANKS has received critical accolades for the preview of the upcoming album which Stereogum anticipates, “should be one of the better debuts of the year.” This video supports her upcoming GODDESS Tour as well as her U.S. television debut on Jimmy Kimmel next Thursday.
