Spoon, the American rock band from Austin, Texas, is offering “instant gratification” tracks for pre-orders of their new album They Want My Soul at independent record stores.
The album will be released on August 5, but as of July 15, fans can get their hands on a limited edition 10″ vinyl that features three pre-release songs from the up and coming album.
The Vinyl Gratification Program that Spoon just introduced is to encourage fans to pre-order a vinyl copy of They Want My Soul. So far, 150 independent record stores all over the country are participating and eventually this will be an international venture.
Spoon fans simply need to preorder the album from a local record store and then they get to listen to the new songs “Rent I Pay,” “Do You” and “Inside Out” (which has not been released anywhere yet). Then on August 5, these fans will be able to get their pre-ordered 180g white vinyl copy of the LP.
