The 2014 Pitchfork Music Festival is happening this weekend at Union Park. Live performances by a number of professional artists like Beck, Cloud Nothings, Kendrick Lamar, Real Estate, Dum Dum Girls, and many more will be on stage showcasing their talents right in the Near West Side of Chicago.
Why it is important that you be there? So you will have a great time, especially since, according to COS, “the independently run, three-day event offers an exciting and diverse lineup along with one of the most inviting, reasonably priced and rewarding weekends of music around.”
If you show up, you are bound to have a lot of fun. But if for some reason you are out-of-the-area and unable to make it all the way to Chicago, Illinois to enjoy live music in the park, you can still be part of this magical weekend. Starting this Friday at 3:30pm CDT, COS states, “the festival will webcast a number of performances live online.” This is great news, because now you don’t have to miss out on this wonderful experience of great music.
