Warpaint are still out supporting their latest release. They were in Philly for a sold out show at Union Transfer this past March. If you missed that show, you’re in luck because the Los Angeles rockers will be touring North America this fall and they are headed back to Philly for an encore performance this October! Join them when they return to Union Transfer on October 9th! Tickets are on sale now!
When they last played in Philly, the four women of Warpaint were joined by local hero Kurt Vile. Audience members were treated to a great performance with some of their favorite Warpaint songs like “Undertow” and “Love Is to Die.” The ladies are sure to bring an even better show this October, so be sure to grab your tickets now before this one sells out too!
Forming on Valentine’s Day in 2004, Warpaint has always been a band that benefited most from the strong connection of its members, including childhood friends Theresa Wayman and Emily Kokal. They self-released their first EP in 2008, and the acclaim and success rose from there. Warpaint released their self-titled sophomore album in January of this year. The album was much awaited as it came nearly 4 years after their debut release, The Fool. Catch them this October when they head back to Philly!
