This September, Coheed and Cambria head out on a fall tour of the US, with a stop in Philly on the 24th! They will play at The Tower for a special Neverender evening. “Neverender” is a song from the band’s first album, but has come to be associated with the band playing an album in its entirety. This time around, it’s their second studio album which will be getting the Neverender treatment. Fans of Coheed and Cambria will be treated to an evening of songs from In Keeping Secrets of Silent Earth: 3.
Coheed and Cambria released their “landmark album” in 2003. It was described as one of the top five albums of the new prog genre. Now, over ten years later, the band will be perform the album for dedicated fans across the US on their upcoming fall tour.
Founded in 1995 in New York, Coheed and Cambria have released seven studio albums and several special-edition releases. Their most recent release was 2013’s The Afterman: Descension, the second part of a double album. Each of Coheed’s seven albums are concept albums telling the story of The Armory Wars. The story was written by the band’s lead singer Claudio Sanchez. In addition to their musical work, the fictional story has been transcribed into a series of comic books and a full-length album.
