New Scott Walker and Sunn O))) Collaboration Album Confirmed

4AD introduced hot new project on Twitter this morning with this link featuring an interesting graphic to announce an even more intriguing collaboration between avante garde musician Scott Walker and drone metal band Sunn O))).

A source from the label told The Quietus, “They’re working together and there is a record coming later in the year.” Walker has worked with 4AD since 2004 up to most recently released album, Bish Bosh, in 2012.

Sunn O))) released a collaboration album with Norwegian collective Ulver entitled Terrestrials earlier this year. This newly announced collab with the always interesting Scott Walker will definitely be something to look out for in coming months.
