Trio Shellac will release their fifth studio album, Dude Incredible, on September 16 via Touch and Go Records.
Shellac is comprised of Steve Albini on guitar, Todd Trainer on drums and Bob Weston on bass. The group formed in Chicago in 1992 and has been making minimalist rock music together ever since. The last album put out by Shellac was Excellent Italian Greyhound in 2007, so fans have been patient in waiting for its follow-up. The band has been recording the forthcoming album in Chicago over the past several years. Dude Incredible, which features nine tracks, will be available in both physical and digital formats.
