LISTEN: Bon Iver Releases New Song “Heavenly Father”

Bon Iver released his new song “Heavenly Father” for the soundtrack to Zach Baff’s new film Wish I was Here. There is the first song Justin Vernon has released as Bon Iver in three years.

According to Consequence of Sound, “On “Heavenly Father”, Vernon’s haunting howl pokes through the static of looping, ambient electronics. “I don’t know you house the sin, I was never sure how much of you I could let in,” he sings, the words as stark and sobering as the ballad itself.”
