There may be bigger EDM fests out there – the Electric Daisy Carnival comes to mind – but there’s a certain je ne sais quoi to Holy Ship!

It could be that it’s on a (Lonely Island quote) boat.

There are two types of readers out there. One set of you guys read the above and said something like “oh DAMN it’s on a BOAT”, the other set said something like “oh…damn…it’s on a…boat?” Only the former group should consider getting tickets. Because mayhem on the high seas is awesome, but it’s good not to forget that your only escape from hundreds of fellow participants is overboard. It is what you make it.

Holy Ship! is a Bahamas cruise on steroids. The first boat, running January 3-6 will be carrying Knife Party, Pretty Lights, Flume, and many more. Expect lots of pool parties. The second leaves for a February 18-21 circuit, and has Skrillex, Fatboy Slim, DJ Snake (who does not turn down for cruises), and a host of other musicians. Full lineup below.

Now, group number one is probably already wondering where to snag tickets. Bad news folks, they’re gone. Your best bet now is to get your name on the waitlist and hope someone either backs out, or develops sudden thalassophobia (vocab for the day).
