Banks, aka Jillian Banks, hails from Los Angeles, California. Writing songs since she was 15, Banks taught herself how to play the piano when she received a keyboard from a friend. Music became the outlet in which she was able to express herself. Her debut album drops this September. The album incorporates previous singles from her London EP, as well as several new tracks. She has already released singles “Brain,” “Goddess,” and most recently “Drowning.”

At her last show, she expressed how new she was to the whole touring thing. It was actually her first time in Philly. But despite her relative new-ness, Banks had the packed crowd fall in love with her all over again.
