Bastille @ Liacouras Center 10/7

This time last year, we were just getting our tickets to Bastille’s show at Union Transfer. That show, held in September, quickly sold out. And the group has been gaining airtime ever since. They recently played at the Radio 104.5 Birthday Show to a crowd of adoring fans. And now they’re headed back to our area as part of their upcoming fall tour. They’ll kick off the string of North American dates right here in Philly with a stop at The Liacouras Center (over on Temple’s campus). Grab your tickets now, as with an Bastille show, this one is sure to fill up.

The members of Bastille have been spending much of the summer performing at several festivals and touring much of Europe. Their upcoming tour, The Last Stand Tour begins in Philadelphia on October 7th. Riding high of the success of their debut album, Bastille continues to support Bad Blood. The album, which dropped in September of last year, features the hit singles “Flaws,” “Pompeii,” and “Bad Blood” among others. An extended version of the album, All This Bad Blood, was released in November of last year which features their frequently performed mash-up cover “Of the Night.”

At this point, the group is working on their follow up album between breaks in their hectic tour schedule. Not much has been announced in terms of the new material, but they have been performing new song “Blame” at their shows, which could help give us a taste of what’s to come. The process of producing the sophomore album is a bit different this time around as a result of their busy schedule, and has been more of a collaborative approach than in the past.
