So far the group has released the cover art for the album and a shared a teaser as well. In a statement about the album, frontman Julan Casablancas stated, “Tyranny has come in many forms throughout history. Now, the good of business is put above anything else, as corporations have become the new ruling body. Most decisions seem to be made like ones of a medieval king: whatever makes profit while ignoring and repressing the truth about whatever suffering it may cause (like pop music, for that matter).”

In addition to the album, the group will also be going on tour this fall. This will be the groups first every American tour. It will kick off on October 16 in Philadelphia, PA. The group has announced 14 dates, but additional dates are being planned and will soon be added for the upcoming tour.
