Alt-J have been steadily riding the success of their debut album, An Awesome Wave, since its release in 2012. Fans of the English rockers will be thrilled to hear that Alt-J will be releasing their second album this September! The album, entitled This Is All Yours will drop on September 22nd via Canvasback/Infectious Records. In support of the new album, Alt-J will embark on a 21-stop tour of North America this fall. The tour kicks off in Vancouver in October and will make its way to Philly by mid-November.
Grab your tickets now to see Alt-J when they arrive in Philadelphia this fall. They’ll be playing a show at The Tower Theater on November 14th. This show will be General Admission for the Lower Level, so be sure to secure tickets in the Loge or Balcony if you need actual seats. For everyone else, you’ll want to get there early to grab a spot up front. This show will definitely attract a large crowd, so plan ahead.
Alt-J’s upcoming album is the first release since the departure of band member Gwil Sainsbury. He announced in the beginning of the year that he would be leaving the band. Alt-J released their debut album back in May of 2012. The album was a coming together of multiple genres and styles and features such standout tracks as “Breezeblocks” and “Tessellate.” Now the Mercury Music Prize winners are presenting their newest work, their sophomore LP, as a trio. As of now, Alt-J is keeping quiet on details of the album, but look forward to more information in the coming months.
