The King of Pop, Michael Jackson,, was an American singer-songwriter, actor, musician, dancer, businessman, and philanthropist. He is called the King of Pop due to the contributions to music, dance and fashion. His publicized personal life also contributed to his global figure in pop culture for over four decades.
His latest album, Xscape, is the second posthumous compilation album of previously unreleased tracks by Michael Jackson. It is the eleventh album released on Sony and Motown Records since Jackson’s death. A team of record producers retooled and contemporized the eight selected tracks as heard on the album.
The legend will live on during the Michael Jackson The Immortal World Tour by Cirque du Soleil. The tour is one of the top 10 grossing music tours of all time, and is coming to the Cedar Park Center August 5 and 6.
