Chance the Rapper and Childish Gambino Collaboration in the Works

Via his twitter account, Childish Gambino revealed that he and Chance the Rapper are working on a joint EP. The two recently collaborated at the Governors Ball festival in New York.

At the Governors Ball, Childish Gambino and Chance the Rapper performed a rendition of “The Worst Guys” from Childish Gambino’s 2013 album Because The Internet. The event took place on Randall’ Island, off of Manhattan.

According to NME, Chance the Rapper will be touring throughout July. As a result, aside from Childish Gambino’s tweet, there are no speculations on when the EP collaboration will be released.

Donald McKinley Glover (Childish Gambino) is a multi talented actor, writer, comedian, producer, and rapper. As an actor, he was best known for his role as Troy Barnes on Community. After signing with Glassnote Records, he released his first Camp in November of 2011. Childish Gambino recently concluded The Deep Web Tour and will perform at the Firefly Music Festival this month.

Chancelor Bennett (Chance the Rapper) began his career in 2011. However, it was not until the release of his second mixtape, Acid Rap in 2013 that he gained more attention. To date, Chance the Rapper has released two mix tapes and has performed on many collaborations with various artists.
