John Stephens, better known by his stage name John Legend, is an American singer-songwriter and actor. Throughout his career, he has won nine Grammy Awards. In 2007, Legend received the special Starlight Award from the Songwriters Hall of Fame. Legend will perform at the Cedar Park Center during his highly acclaimed 2014 North American Tour on July 22 with special guest Marsha Ambrosius.
The anticipation for Legend’s 2014 tour comes from the number one single “All of Me.” The single is from his critically acclaimed fourth studio album, Love in the Future. The album recently claimed the number one spot on Billboard’s Hot 100 Singles chart. The “All of Me” single marks Legend’s highest selling and charting single of his career to date. The single has over 3 million sales in the U.S.
Legend’s 2014 tour, “An Evening with John Legend: The All of Me Tour,” gives off an intimate and acoustic setting. The show is highlighted by guitar, vocals and a string quartet. In a recent review, Billboard stated the show was “one of the best concerts ever.”
