It seems that Guns N’ Roses are back to recording new material. And according to Axl Rose, the recording may already be finished.
According to a Rolling Stone article, Axl Rose recently confirmed a follow-up to Chinese Democracy . Rose had this to say about the new recordings in a recent Revolver interview:
“We’ve worked more on some of those things and we’ve written a few new things. But basically, we have what I call the second half of Chinese. That’s already recorded. And then we have a remix album made of the songs from Chinese. That’s been done for a while, too.”
With no release date for the new material, other than guitarist Richard Fortus’s mentioning the possibility of a debut “in the next year.” After the long delays that affected Chinese Democracy, we can only speculate as when the two new albums should be in final listening form, but it will likely be worth the wait.
