During a recent appearance at a charity event in London, Florence Welch said she wouldn’t be playing any new songs at the concert. But she did mention that, yes, a new Florence + The Machine is in the process of being made.
According to a recent NME article, during The Other Ball in central London, a Mark Ronson-hosted fundraiser for the Arms Around The Child charity, Florence Welch alluded to a third Florence + The Machine album, after Lungs and Ceremonials. She hinted at “hiding in the studio 24 hours a day.” This means that Florence + The Machine is putting some real time and effort into this new album. Time will tell what comes out of the process, but in the meanwhile, we can only wait on a release date.
