John Legend @ The Mann Center 8/2

Have you grown sick of John Legend’s “All of Me” yet? No? Well good, because Legend is headed back to our area this August for a performance at The Mann. He was just here a few weeks ago performing at The Kimmel Center and giving the commencement speech at his alma mater, The University of Pennsylvania. Legend has announced a summer tour that will bring him back to Philly on August 2nd! The pre-sale has begun, so get your tickets now!

The nine-time Grammy winner captivated his audience at The Kimmel Center with his simplistic set up, taking comfort behind the piano. He performed hits like “Ordinary People” and “Tonight (Best You Ever Had).” And he ended his set with the song currently dominating the airwaves, “All of Me.” In typical John Legend fashion, he wowed his audience with his lyrical abilities but also with obvious talents as a pianist. But the moment that probably stole the show was when a man in the front row stood up and proposed to his girlfriend.

John Legend’s newest hit, “All of Me,” was inspired by his new bride, Chrissy Teigen. The song is off of his most recent album, Love in the Future, which was released in August of 2013. His upcoming tour kicks off in California this July and will finish it’s US run at the end of August. Get your tickets now to see John Legend when he returns to Philly this August!
