When the Londoners performed at Union Transfer in May, the audience was treated to every song from their newest LP, So Long, See You Tomorrow. In addition to the new material, fans also got to hear a mix of songs from the band’s older material, including tracks from their 2009 and 2011 albums. The sounds from the newest LP, which finds the band developing and mastering an electro-pop sound, are inspired by lead singer Jack Steadman’s travels to Holland, Turkey, and India. The enthusiasm of the material was reflected in their live set, and we can only hope that the magic continues with their October appearance on the Union Transfer stage.
This time around, Bombay Bicycle Club will be bringing Milo Greene as their supporting act. Milo Greene is the fictional persona created by the band. He’s British. He’s also well versed in art and history. And they think he would be a big fan of their music. The band, Milo Greene, is comprised of four vocalists who describe their sound as cinematic pop music. Get there early to catch their set!
