South African rap group Die Antwoord will be releasing a new album, Donker Mag, on June 3.
The upcoming album is the duo’s third full-length studio record and will be released on their own label, ZEF Recordz. Die Antwoord, which is Afrikaans for “The Answer,” has brought Zef culture to an international audience with their rave rap style of music and unorthodox lyrics and visuals. Their videos have hundreds of millions of views because they are crazy – filled with profanity, violence, nudity and inexplicable images. Last summer, they brought us the “Cookie Thumper” music video from the upcoming album. You can watch the latest video from Ninja and Yolandi for their lead single, “Pitbull Terrier,” below, but beware because it is extremely NSFW.
Die Antwoord will be touring this summer in support of the new album, making stops at festivals like Flow Festival and Free Press Summer Fest.
