Sharon van Etten has released a new music video for her track “Every Time the Sun Comes Up.” Watch as things get a little scary onscreen.

In her newest video, which is directed by David Keller, van Etten appears as a cartoon on a TV screen while the majority of the video focuses on an older horrow show host. The new video comes just after last month’s release of the video for van Etten’s song “Taking Chances” last month, and the announcement of the upcoming release of her fourth studio album, Are We There, on May 27th.
The video manages to do a lot while using very little, and the effect is powerful. Check out the video below for yourself, and prepare to be a little haunted (and no doubt entertained) by what you’ll see.
