The Afghan Whigs Announce Fall 2014 Tour Dates

The Afghan Whigs 2014 world tour will now include fall tour dates in North America.

The tour is in support of the group’s latest album, Do to the Beast, which was released in April. One of the songs the record features is “Algiers,” the first new track released by The Afghan Whigs in 16 years.

Though the grunge band went over a decade and a half without any new material, that doesn’t mean they stopped performing. The Afghan Whigs’ Steve Myers made an appearance at the 2013 Brooklyn Rock Lottery and the group performed at the 2014 Coachella Festival as part of the Friday lineup.
