Last week Coheed and Cambria lured fans on their website with the phrase “When it rings, will you answer?” The more than 15,000 fans who responded to this question with their phone number got access to a supreme treat from the band – first dibs on tickets to Coheed and Cambria’s upcoming tour, Neverender IKSSE:3, where they’ll be playing 2003’s In Keeping Secrets of Silent Earth: 3 in its entirety.
Coheed and Cambria came back on the scene in 2013 with the release of The Afterman: Descension, and went on a rampant tour in support of it.
The concept of Neverender, which heavily plays into Coheed and Cambria’s upcoming tour, comes from the band’s concert series in 2008 when they played a different album for each stop on their tour through Los Angeles, Chicago, New York City and London. Those lucky fans who got their hands on tickets to the band’s 2014 tour installation will also witness an intimate acoustic performance from Coheed and Cambria before doors open to the rest of the public. On top of that, they will also be receiving original demos from In Keeping Secrets of Silent Earth: 3, on cassette tape.
See below for a complete listing of the pending tour, where Coheed and Cambria have Thank You Scientist opening for them. If you don’t get a chance to make it to one of the following, read up on how they performed at last fall’s Uproar Festival here.
