Twenty One Pilots are coming back this September and it seems that Philadelphia fans can’t get enough of the talented duo! They’ve expressed love for Philly and eagerness to come back and perform for an audience who so clearly adores them.
Recent Philly performances include a packed opener at last year’s Winter Jam. Then they performed to a sold out crowd at The TLA, back in November. At that show they announced they’d be back again for this year’s Winter Jam (in January), only this time they’d be headlining the outdoor concert. Despite freezing temperatures, and quite a bit of snow, Tyler and Josh wowed the massive audience of fans who had waited all day to see them perform. In what has become an anticipated moment of the show, they got out on top of the crowd to have a drum off. It was getting darker, and the snow was falling more steadily, but everyone seemed to keep warm through performances of “Holding on to You” and “Guns for Hands.”
Now they’re headed to our area once again for another event hosted by Radio 104.5. The “Quiet is Violent Tour” will stop in Philly this September. Their show on 9/27 at The Tower sold out so quickly that the duo decided to add a second date, on 9/28, so if you missed your chance to grab tickets the first time around, you’re in luck.
