X Music Announces 2014 Lineup Including Kanye West, Pretty Lights and The Flaming Lips

They would like you to “Come for the Games,” and “Stay for the party,” so in case you weren’t convinced already, the X Games just announced their 2014 X Music lineup including Kanye West, Pretty Lights, The Flaming Lips, Gary Clark Jr., Slightly Stoopid and many more.

Smack dap in the center of the “Live Music Capital of the World,” Austin, Texas, X Music will add to this great summer concert season from June 5 to June 8, with a lineup including none other than Mac Miller, Bad Religion, Dillon Francis, Mayer Hawthorne, FMLYBND, Wavves, Mystery Skulls, Cash Cash, CandyLand, Jayceeoh, Five Knives – DJ Set, Auto Body, Featherface, The Black And White Years, Black Pistol Fire, Mirror Travel, My Jerusalem, Not In The Face, Emily Wolfe, Leopold And His Fiction, Little Radar, Paris Blohm, English Teeth, Magna Carda, and Luminox.

Since it’s launch in 1995, when ESP N created an International competition, to bring together the top action sports athletes in the world, the X Music portion of the event has become a “Party,” and a tradition with no better venue than the Austin 360 Ampitheater. X Games Austin 2014 will be showcasing the very best in action sports with Nine Festival Villages, as a new way to entertain the masses, all day and night.

The Austin 360 Ampitheater is a world class, open-air venue located at Circuit of The Americas, with room for 14,000 fans, reserved seating for 6,700, and a humungous lawn “perfect for rocking out with your whole crew.” This event is scheduled to take place rain or shine.

Giving artists a chance to perform at the X Music 2014, X Games have offered a Battle of the Bands competition with prizes including a spot on the main stage, your performance broadcast on ESPN, and $25,000.
