Wiz Khalifa – Under the Influence of Music Tour @ Susquehanna Bank Center 7/25

Get ready for another installment of Wiz Khalifa’s Under the Influence of Music Tour. Always a wild time, the tour will come to Philly, by way of Camden, this July with a stop at the Susquehanna Bank Center on 7/25. And this is going to be its biggest year yet!

This year marks the third iteration of the tour, founded by the Pittsburgh rapper. The first round, back in 2012, saw Wiz Khalifa teaming up with fellow Pittsburgh native, Mac Miller. They also brought along Kendrick Lamar, Schoolboy Q, and Chevy Woods. Then in 2013, Wiz Khalifa upped the ante a little. Co-headlining the tour with A$AP Rocky, the bill also featured performances from B.o.B, Trinidad James, Joey Bada$$, and Pro Era. Each year featured a stacked set of hip hop artists, and this year’s lineup is no exception.

Each year, the event gets bigger and better. For 2014’s Under the Influence of Music Tour, Wiz Khalifa is bringing along an impressive group of artists including Young Jeezy, Tyga, Ty Dolla $ign, Rich Homie Quan, Sage the Gemini, IAMSU!, Mack Wilds, and DJ Drama. In typical Wiz fashion, the tickets went on sale at 4:20 PM. All fans who purchase tickets for the show online will get a digital copy of Wiz’s upcoming album. Wiz Khalifa’s 5th studio album, Blacc Hollywood, is due sometime this year. He released the album’s first single, “We Dem Boyz” at the beginning of February. He says he chose the song as his album’s first single because of its energy. “It reaches so many audiences other than just a rap audience. It’s kind of like how ‘Black and Yellow’ was — a big sports song to get everybody riled. It’s more of an anthem.” If “We Dem Boyz” is your anthem of the summer, you’ll definitely want to grab tickets for the upcoming tour!
