Portland, Oregon’s annual summer music festival, MusicfestNW, is excited to release it’s 2014 lineup today which, will take place August 16th and the 17th at Tom McCall Waterfront Park.
MFNW 2014 which takes place on two stages from noon until 10pm, will feature Girl Talk, Spoon, Phantogram, Haim, Run The Jewels, tUnE-yArDs, Future Islands, Fucked Up, Man Man, The Antlers, Gardens & Villa, Pink Mountaintops, Thundercat, EMA, Shy Girls, Modern Kin, Landlady, and The Districts.
This year’s attendees will be encouraged to sample food from Portland’s finest food carts, shop for rock-n-roll posters and dance along to Headphone Disco presented by KIND.
Beginning in 2000, MusicfestNW has grown to over 39,000 music fans by 2013. Including attendees from 47 states and 15 countries, MFNW has had the opportunities to showcase bands that went on to stardom such as Modest Mouse, The National, Macklemore & Ryan Lewis, The Black Keys, Passion Pit, The Decemberists, Girl Talk, Vampire Weekend, TV On The Radio, Beirut, Explosions In The Sky, Neko Case, Animal Collective Wiz Khalifa, The Kills, Dinosaur Jr, The Hives, Silversun Pickups, Built To Spill, Bad Brains, Sunny Day Real Estate and many, many more.
Early Bird tickets will be available Friday, May 3rd, and run $85 for a two-day pass and $50 for a single day pass. VIP passes will also be available for $399 for two-day passes and $175 for single day passes. Tickets can be purchased at musicfestnw.com/tickets/
