Italian metallari Lacuna Coil have a brand new video for their track “I Forgive (But I Won’t Forget Your Name)”.
The six rockers have dropped a video produced by Sitcom Soldiers that channels the angst and anger in the track, featuring the singers engaging in a rather intense game of chess, shots of the band in their typical black gothic inspired garb, and a lot of black eyeliner. The track is from the band’s current and seventh full length studio album, Broken Crown Halo, which dropped this month. With seven albums and two EP’s under the name Lacuna Coil alone, not to mention their previous nomers Sleep of Right and Ethereal, the group are seasoned in the genre, consistently delivering raging but melodic nu-metal that combines slower tempo with heavy guitars and male-female harmonies.
The Milanese band released the first single from Broken Crown Halo in February of this year (“Nothing Stands in Our Way“), and delivered the full album just last week! They have been relentlessly busy, as is their custom, and are in the middle of touring Broken Crown Halo still. They have tour dates left for the summer, including the UK’s biggest heavy metal festival, Bloodstock, in August, so make sure to catch them when you can for your daily dose of nu-metal.
