With Damon Albarn’s first-ever, hotly anticipated, solo album due out tomorrow, it’s great news he’s sandwiched in a few more U.S. dates on his current tour. Between his June stops at the Governors Ball Music Festival and Bonnaroo, Albarn will be making performances at several locations along the East Coast – see below for all new dates.
So far this year, Albarn’s played a handful of shows across the pond, as well as a legendary SXSW set in March that featured him alongside Del the Funky Homosapien, Dan the Automator and Snoop Dogg – the quartet unleashed “Clint Eastwood” live for the first time.
The Brit musician has also done a decent job of teasing his upcoming album, thanks to the streaming of new songs “Everyday Robots” and “Lonely Press Play,” then the release of “Heavy Seas of Love”, featuring Brian Eno.
Not to forget those bands that helped make him what he is today, Albarn also just hyped fans with the mention a new Gorillaz album could be in the works.
See below for the complete roster for Albarn’s upcoming U.S. dates – and check here to see where he’ll be playing overseas, the rest of the summer.
