Billed as one of several Localchella shows around Southern California between the two weekends of the Coachella Music & Arts Festival, City and Colour graced the majestic stage and art-deco walls of the Fox Theatre in Pomona. Accompanied by his stellar four-piece band, Dallas Green serenaded the sold-out crowd with a collection of indie-folk songs that had the entire building singing along. Favorites such as “Harder Than Stone” fit in perfectly with acoustic and stripped down “Comin’ Home” and “Paradise,” as the mixture of full band and solo acoustic songs had the everyone on a roller coaster of emotions throughout the night.
