A partial lineup for the 2014 edition of the Capitol Hill Block Party has been released. And like lineups from 2009, 2012, and 2013 it features a wide variety of musical styles, including mulitple rock, electronic, and hip-hop acts.
This year’s Block Party is shaping up to be one of the best yet, with headliners like A$AP Rocky, Chromeo, The War on Drugs, and Spoon, just to name a few. And according to the festival’s website, the Block party will take place over 3 days (Jul 25-27) in Seattle’s arts and music center, the Capitol Hill neighborhood. In addition to the headliners and nationally-known artists, the festival will showcase many local artists as well, bosting over 100 total acts.
The music will be taking place in four outdoor venues as well as two outdoor stages built for the event. The grounds are flanked by local bars, clubs and restaurants that all take part in the event. The festival is also associated with a non-profit Called Sound Culture that supports and works with Seattle music and arts programs. Here’s the Capitol Hill Block Party lineup as released so far.
