Foster the People Announce Summer 2014 Tour Dates

Following the release of Foster the People’s second album, Supermodel, last month, the LA-based indie pop trio look to be busy on the road from now through August. The group just wrapped their first 2014 weekend of Coachella, and already have a packed week before they return to Indio this Saturday.

Lead singer Mark Foster had announced in 2012 that Supermodel would be coming out in 2013 – the band even played a handful of their new songs at last summer’s Firefly Music Festival, in Delaware, then at LA’s Troubador. Columbia Records then delayed the release from November 2013 to March 2014, but fans at least got a taste of it with single “Coming of Age,” which was released in January and has been hot on the radio ever since.

To further support the new LP, Foster the People are hitting the road hard, touring all over the States and Europe these next few months, stopping at such festivals as Sasquatch! in May, and Lollapalooza in August.

UPDATE 6/23: Foster the People have just tacked on a large number of new dates to the end of their current tour. This includes quite a few festival stops, as well as treks into Canada and Mexico. See below for a complete listing of Foster the People’s tour:
