TEEN is the supporting act for Phantogram’s performance at Stubb’s BBQ, April 22. TEEN is an American alternative rock band, consisting of three sisters–Teeny, Katherine and Lizze–and their friend Boshra AlSaadi. Their most recent album is, The Way and Color. Their record label, Carpark, states on their website, “TEEN itself embodies one of that era’s signature features: bold, visionary, female musicians. It’s intelligent, heartfelt music, artfully expressed in TEEN’s singular voice.” Lead singer and founder, Teeny, comments on the group’s new album, “when I finally listened to the album all the way through, I felt proud that we made something that made me feel uplifted. I hope this music will make people feel some happiness and joy.”
