Veteran Minnesotan hip-hop duo Atmosphere have announced some upcoming tour dates in support of their Southsiders album, due out just around the corner in May.

Atmosphere is: Slug (Sean Daley) and Ant (Anthony Davis). Sort of refreshing to see some nice, simple artist names, isn’t it? Slug raps, Ant DJs and…well, that’s the group right there. The two originally met while Slug was in high school (and yes, we’re going to refer to them by those names) – the two joined up, and bundled themselves into the Rhymesayers rap collective. Their first album, Overcast showed up in 1997, and the pair have been going strong ever since, releasing six studio albums and ten EPs.

We got a hint of new material after “Bitter” was streamed. Small bonus: it came packaged with a music video featuring a dramatic snowball fight. Not what you’d expect from the title, but hey, we’re not complaining. We’ll be seeing more from Atmosphere soon, for now, check the tour dates:
