Ex-member Duff McKagan will reunite with Guns N’ Roses to take the place of Tommy Stinson, who is scheduled play with The Replacements at Coachella.
The current bassist for Guns N’ Roses, Tommy Stinson, is scheduled to reunite with his original band, The Replacements, for two high-profile dates at Coachella in mid-April. During that time, ex-Guns N’ Roses member Duff McKagan will re-join Guns N’ Roses for five shows in Buenos Aires, Argentina; Asuncion, Paraguay; La Paz, Bolivia; Recife, Brazil; and Fortaleza, Brazil.
Replacing bassist Ole Beich, Duff McKagan joined Guns N’ Roses in 1985 and stayed with the band for twelve years. He had then played in Jane’s Addiction and Velvet Revolver. He was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2012 as a member of Guns N’ Roses.
Last year, a mystery track, rumored to be a track by Guns N’ Roses, was leaked online. Guns N’ Roses will be performing at Revolver Golden Gods Awards Show with Korn and Zakk Wylde.
