The Horrors have a new album coming up, and they’re not about to let anyone forget about it. The British outfit have released “So Now You Know”, the second look we’ve had at Luminous, due out just around the corner on May 6.
The Horrors sound like a band adrift in time. Their dreamy, synth-heavy sound echoes older British styles like Shoegaze and Gothic Rock. But my do they make it work – not everyone manages to snag Mercury Prize nominations, or billing at the Glastonbury Festival.
Luminous is their fourth full-length album, and it’s just about to drop. The first song released off the album came in the form of “I See You“, a seven-minute epic that the Horrors later went on to perform on BBC radio. Check out “So Now You Know” below. We’d usually use this space to speculate about any upcoming releases off the album but as it’s coming next week, we’ll just leave you with the song. Enjoy.
