Jurassic 5 announced their reunion tour “Word of Mouth” which is set to happen this summer. The hip hop group made an appearance last year at Coachella after a six-year absence when the group broke up due to their inability to resolve disagreements in 2007.

Jurassic 5, known for their alternative hip hop, formed in 1993 from the collaboration of Rebels of Rhythm and Unity Committee. The group consists of Charles Steward (Chali 2na), Dante Givens (Akil), Courtenay Henderson (Zaakir), Marc Stuart (Marc 7) , Mark Potsic (DJ Nu-Mark) and Lucas Macfadden (Cut Chemist). The group released a total of four albums while they were still formally together. Their final album, Feedback made number 15 on the Billboard 200 in 2006. In 2013 the group reformed for the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festivals and for an international tour.
