Kitten Announces New Self-Titled Album for June 2014 Release

Indie rock band Kitten will be releasing a self-titled debut album on June 24, 2014, via Elektra Records. The track “Why I Wait” is already available for streaming.

Kitten is fronted by Chloe Chaidez, who is currently 19 years old, but has been playing music for over 10 years. By the time she was 12 years old, she was opening for acts like Midlake, Conor Oberst and Band of Horses.

The group released their Like A Stranger EP and played SXSW in 2013, and toured last spring with special guests Paramore and The Joy Formidable.

This year, they’re playing at the first-ever Big Guava Music Festival in Florida. Kitten is currently touring North America with The Neighbourhood.
