Eminem, Skrillex, Kings of Leon, and Arctic Monkeys. Quite a list.
Lollapalooza isn’t any stranger to big names though. The festival is consistently among the biggest American blowouts, and they’ve hosted some truly huge acts over the years. Take the sold out 2013 edition for example. Just a couple of the names on that blurry header are: Queens of the Stone Age, Nine Inch Nails, Killers, National, Knife Party, and Lumineers.
Even so, this new lineup is looking formidable. The Arctic Monkeys are riding the wave of their most recent obscenely successful album, Skrillex is busy hyping an upcoming release, and Eminem is…Eminem – we don’t really have to explain that one, do we?
But take this one with the tiniest grain of salt. Lollapalooza has yet to confirm the headliners, instead the story broke through the Chicago Tribune. On the other hand, you’d expect them to get the story right, wouldn’t you?
