SXSW 2014: Rachael Ray Feedback House

In addition to her day party at Stubbs, Rachael Ray hosts the Feedback House every year – a 3 day (and night) party. The event feels every bit as exclusive as the event organizers make it out to be. As an invite-only event, individuals wishing to attend are asked to submit an RSVP request.

This year’s Feedback House took place at the CTC Garden, an urban garden oasis away from much of the SXSW craziness. The location was the perfect escape from the madness. But that wasn’t the only positive aspect of heading to the Feedback House. The lineup alone was reason enough to make the trek over there. With acts like Cheers Elephant, Band of Skulls, and Little Hurricane on Friday’s bill alone, Team Rachael  once a gained proved they knew a thing or two about great music. The party host’s husband, John Cusimano, and his band The Cringe also put on a killer set, with Cusimano heading into the crowd at several points in his performance. Up in the front was his biggest fan, his wife.

In between sets, hungry fans could feast on chicken sliders and grilled corn, recipes from the famous chef. They were also treated to free hotdogs and ice cream on top of the free flowing drinks. If one thing can be said about Rachael Ray it’s that the girl sure knows how to put on an amazing party!
