According to mashable, Samsung announced that Jay Z and Kanye West will be kicking off their four-day SXSW concert series which starts Wednesday in Austin, TX.

In 2011, the last time Kaye West performed at the SXSW music festival, mxdwn said that, “ Kanye West took over the final night of SXSW 2011 with 3-hour marathon show that featured Jay-Z, John Legend, Mos Def, Justin Vernon from Bon Iver and numerous members of his G.O.O.D. Music record label,” which included Big Sean.
Jay Z and Samsung previously teamed up in 2013 to release his album Magna Carta Holy Grail, which gave away 1 million copies exclusively to Galaxy owners. In return the Samsung Galaxy owners were required to download the free app to receive the album. Due to this revolutionary technique, the Recording Industry Association of America was forced to modernize its 55-year-old certification process to include digital sales, due to this revolutionary marketing technique.
Location of the concert will not be announced til the day of the show.
